300 Words Taj Mahal Essay In English
There are many beautiful and worth seeing buildings in India, but the Taj Mahal at Agra is the most beautiful of them all. Taj Mahal was built about 3 years ago by the Mughal emperor, Shahjahan, in the memory of his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal.
My friend and I visited the Taj during the last summer vacation. Its vision cast a spell over me. It stood in unique majesty. What a fine layout indeed. This is all I could say on the spot. It looked white on all sides. The green grass and the green shoots of cypress trees adorned its majestic beauty. Nature’s beauty made the building look all the more beautiful.
We went up the stairs. We found the graves of the king and the queen under the dome in the dark chamber. Multi-colored pieces of glass and couplets from the Quaran decorated the side walls. The four minarets stood as watchmen, one at each corner.
A full moonlight night followed in a couple of days. We visited the Taj again that night. Its beauty shone brightly in the silvery light of the moon. It was a sight for gods to see. My joy knew no bounds when I saw the reflection of the Taj in the Yamuna.
A clear picture of marble could be seen. I closed my eyes and opened them again to find it was a reality. May, it was not a dream. As God is there to bestow nature’s beauty, man’s hand is there to create wonderful pieces of art and architecture.
How a man could be so perfect in working out the minutest details of art! The Taj Mahal is even now with me. And I can still see its Beauty with my mind’s eye as and when I desire to do so.
